Once a season is out, all retail store demo Watch straps – even ones that were displayed under glass – are shipped off to be destroyed. Even ones that were never taken out of their box and used. Even ones that are in perfect condition.
They’re not offered to staff (free or discounted). Just sent off to be destroyed.

I know this happens with pretty much every designer clothing brand, but Apple is always saying how much they care for the environment and recycle things.
