Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities will be to:-
Prepare and reviewing legal documents/instruments;
Prepare legal opinions and briefs;
Draft legal documents, leases and contracts;
Undertake research on specific legal areas;
Identify issues and areas for legal policy formulation and review;
Ensure compliance with the Anti-Doping Policy, legal requirements and provisions in all the undertake of the Agency;
Handle doping cases before the Sports Disputes Tribunal; and
Handle whereabouts failure cases.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, an officer must: –
Have Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution;
Have Diploma in Law from the Council of Legal Education;
Be an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya;
Be a member of the Law Society of Kenya
Have a valid Practicing Certificate;
Have at least three (3) years post admissions experience in litigation;
Proficiency in use of computer applications.
