Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities will be to:-
Analyze and interpreting data on the active sports disciplines;
Prepare initial reports on the active sports disciplines;
Carry out Anti-Doping Education needs assessment;
Prepare Anti-Doping Education materials in accordance with the approved curriculum;
Mobilize participants for Anti-Doping Education programs;
Carry out sensitization sessions on Anti-Doping;
Prepare annual reports on Anti-Doping Education;
Carry out Values Based education for Children aged fourteen (14) years and below;
Implement activities based on the approved Departmental budgets; and
Assess the effectiveness of Anti-Doping Education activities;
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:-
A Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: – Physical Education, Sports Science or Leisure and Recreation Management from a recognized institution;
OR
A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences with a Post-Graduate Diploma in Sports Administration and Management from a recognized institution;
OR
A Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Bio-Chemistry, Education (Sciences) or Pharmacy with a Postgraduate Diploma in Sports Administration and Management or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
At least three (3) years’ experience in a related field; and
Proficiency in use of computer applications.
