men who struggle/ are bad at being romantic how did it affect your relationships and did you find a way to be better at it?

I’m not a man but I’m absolutely not impressed by stuff that people usually view as romantic, people think that makes me pessimistic and a lot of my boyfriends disliked it a lot, because they thought that makes me disinterested in them.
