Relationships always felt like a thing I was supposed to do but never really enjoyed. So I just stopped.
Being single and being able to date around without commitment, do whatever I want whenever I want without worrying about upsetting someone, and not having another persons life completely entangled with mine is an absurdly freeing feeling.
I see friends in long term relationships and they just seem strung out. Like they barely enjoy it but don’t wanna let go because they are afraid of being alone. That is my nightmare
