i guess i didn’t realize there were so many people who straight up don’t care to see what’s going on down there?? to each their own of course, but it’s your own body—there is no need to feel embarrassed at all, because it’s just you, you know, you’re the only one looking. i think of it like, embarrassment comes from thinking that onlookers are judging or caring about an action you take. when you’re examining your own self, there’s zero possibility of being judged cause you are the only brain present. it sounds like you’re more uncomfortable than embarrassed with your nudity? that’s okay and human, but i urge you to just go for it one night while you’re alone. it’s important to have a visual and know what your body’s version of ‘healthy’ looks like, especially so that when there is something wrong, you recognize it. i’m sure you will feel worldsssss more comfortable with your body, knowing all the nooks and crannies. if you’re still not convinced, i’d say ask yourself what you are really afraid of happening? it might be uncomfortable, but discomfort won’t kill you in this instance.
