It’s actually a sad story. This girl that I got really close to throughout school and then later as well began dating an older guy when she started high school, and they were together on and off throughout high-school. The red flags started showing up thick and fast but first loves have stupid amounts of gravity so despite the multiple issues they had, they stayed together and got married shortly after high school. You already know the story, divorced after a year, verbal abuse and then physical, it was just heartbreaking
