So a few months ago, my ex texted me on SMS, telling me how I was right and how he was wrong about everything. Basically, I was the other women. He had a girlfriend before me, they took a break from dating, he asked me to be friends with benefits and some how “fell in love” with me and we started dating. I found out he was juggling two women and broke up with him.
But now, she cheated on him. And they are officially over. My ex is pursuing me again, by giving me all the things I’ve always wanted. My love language is gift giving and acts of service. So obviously I love materialistic things. He sends me money sometimes and now that I’m studying abroad, he booked a stay at a fancy beach for the both of us, and wants to bring me there.
To be honest, I’m not hung up with my ex. Am I still in love with him? No. Is he buying my love? Yes. Is that the only reason that keeps me around him? Absolutely. If he were to be broke would I be with him? Hell no.
Basically, I’m just using him for his money. And to be honest, I don’t even feel guilty about it. I was genuine once upon a time and he took me for granted. At least I’m getting a free trip!
