We had a long argument yesterday where my manager insisted this, said that it would be unfair to ‘promote women based on their gender’.

My argument was that they seem to have a very specific narrow definition of leadership and it’s why women can’t seem to get promoted. What are some better ways I can put my point across?

It’s an age old argument and I feel like I can never convince the other side
