Which philosopher was overrated and probably wrong according to you?

Personally, I think Jean-Jacques Rousseau is overrated. I mean, sure, his ideas about the social contract were influential in shaping modern political theory, but I think his emphasis on the “noble savage” and his romanticization of pre-modern society were misguided. Plus, his views on gender roles and education were pretty outdated, even for his time.
