When you wipe do you to use the folding method to save paper or do you just bunch it up and discard?

Fold, refold and usually you can get a third fold in there. I must do this because my children don’t yet understand it isn’t necessary to use a quarter roll to wipe their ass. If I bunched as well we’d have no money for food or shelter.
