When you were a child did you want to be an adult, or did never want to grow up?

Well I knew I would grow up eventually, but I certainly was in no rush to grow up. Everyone who I knew who was an adult was miserable, tired, sad, aggravated, and constantly stressed out. So I knew adulting would suck. And so far, it has.
