When sitting next to someone in public, do you choose to talk to them or do you keep to yourself?

I try to make a genuine observation about something around us or the setting and try to take a cue from there.

For example, if it is about the setting like a park for example, I would say like “what do you think about this park?”. If they are interested, they will engage but if not, we would both be aware and move on.

We don’t always connect with everyone and that is ok.
