Man, WhatsApp hasn’t added a feature I thought “oh wow, I like this” since it allowed you to use the app on desktop. Before that, it was probably the initial release of the app on iOS.
Why are there so many pointless feature updates? Do things we actually want. Custom / animated emojis. Better groups. Editing messages. There’s so much low hanging fruit. But no, we get video calls (which no one will switch over from their currently preferred app to do), stories (same thing), and now this redundant ‘short video message’ garbage.
