What’s one small but meaningful act of kindness you’ve received from a stranger that has stuck with you over the years?

I once walked my dog a few kilometres to get fish and chips for us. I come from a rural area and I typically drive down.

I had my food and sat on the pier sharing it with my dog, I also bought some treats for him. This old lady came up to me and said “you must love your dog very much” all sweet and such. She then handed me a handwritten letter that was a memoir from I think general Jackson or Sherman, it was a short speech about man’s best friend and the loyalty we share.

It was so sweet and I loved it, the best part was that I live in New Zealand and so does she.
