What’s a time when you helped someone in need and what was the outcome?

I’ve helped pay for a two different girls’ purchases at the store (without expecting anything in return) because they either didn’t have enough money on their cards or whatever and both times they were obviously embarrassed and they both told me that I didn’t have to help them. But I just asked the cashiers how much they owed, I gave them my debit card, they said thank you, (one of them even cried) they both tried getting my number/information so that they could pay me back and I just told them “don’t worry about it” and I left!!!
