Many of the greatest supporters and buyers of Tesla come from the global liberal eco-friendly crowd. With Twitter acquisition, Musk is getting ready to promote, or at least better enable, the trumpist-rightwing gas guzzling crowd.
I believe in the coming years, Tesla will lose it’s green-cool status due to Musk very public political positions. That will hurt his wallet.
