Wife forgot to turn in a required piece of paper for her very well paying job. Would take months to get it again and she would lose her active job. She remembers an hour before it was due at night.
Internet went down for the whole city.
I figured out the internet was fine but the dns at the isp was what was down.
Set her computer to a public DNS server.
TADA one of a few people who had internet that night.
More clutch than badass….. but I’m proud of that one.
