What was your first idea on how babies were born?

I knew they came from the mother somehow but I didn’t know how sex worked.

I ended up seeing “mating” by watching our chickens fuck on our farm, and my dad explained fertilization but left out the sex part. Then shortly later in middle school they explained it in Sex Ed.
