As I got older, I would debate more and more as a centrist. I believed (and still do often) that there is always a lot of grey area when it comes to most issues. However, far left leaning people (women most often) would either scream at me, tell me I’m horrible, claim I was ignorant despite my own research, and would tell me to “check your privilege.“ after a while. I got sick of it and did more research and more thinking. I’m still a centrist, but more right leaning now.
