What is your way to tell yourself to feel grateful?

I don’t. When I feel grateful I feel grateful. When I don’t I ask myself what is wrong and try to understand where my feelings of ungratefulness is coming from.

If a friend feels ungrateful I would want to know why they feel that way instead of automatically invalidating their feelings with toxic positivity.

Toxic positivity and emotional invalidating yourself are very quick ways to become mentally ill.
