What is the first step to take if a person points a gun at you?

… wait for them to get closer, no sudden moves, one they’re in arm’s reach, shove & twist the muzzle away from you, & try to take over the gun.

This has been done by many people before. I’m not an expert or anything but i watched someone do this in an armed street fight once. I knew instantly I’d never see that happen again.
