What is the biggest risk you have taken in life and what did you learn from it?

I left my company, family and friends to live in another country for my wife. To learn her culture and the language.

I guess i learned that not everything a person is on the outside is what they really are. That people can be kind but cruel. And that when the night of my wedding i should have listened to my father-in law when he said he had respect for me marrying his crazy daughter.
