I’m an automation consultant and workplace automation is something that is going to take off once someone allows for more customisation or having a platform that still requires an expert to sort it but is more about configuring it than programming.
I work primarily in streamlining workflows to make workers happier and more productive, but we’re on the cusp of workers being entirely replaced agnostic of the type of job. Office work will be over.
It’s been on the horizon for years, but I see it starting to happen within a year
