What genuinely changed your life?

It’s such a difficult thing to come to terms with. I became physically disabled as a child, I don’t remember a time when I wasn’t, but I still think about the day it happened. Even though I love my life, and had things been different I wouldn’t be where I am today, I still think about it. Only 20-odd years later can I finally say I’ve completely come to terms with my disability and accepted myself. Hang in there, your disability is not who you are, it does not define you.
