What event made you become an atheist?

I wouldn’t say it’s common sense tbh. Is it really common sense to completely reject the idea of some higher power creating everything when we don’t actually know for certain what the actual cause was? No-one knows for sure what created everything, could it have been the big bang? Probably, but what caused that etc. I think it’s less of a case of common sense and more of a “nobody knows what happened, but this is what I feel happened”
