What do you think a dog thinks a dream is?

I feel like it’s similar to a baby who is not yet old enough to understand object permanence – if you show them a toy, catch their attention, then hide the toy behind you, that toy is gone in the baby’s eyes. Not behind you, not hidden, gone. I feel like dogs are the same with dreams: when they’re in the dream, they’re there. Once the dream stops, they’re back home. Nothing else 😆 if that makes any sense
