I’ve been trying to research this but I’m getting mixed results from credible sources.
Some say that it is blue due to the water molecules absorbing other wavelengths more, therefore it looks slightly blue and exponentially more with more water.
Others say that it is just reflecting the skylight, sky is blue during the day because it scatters the least in the sky. Due to the slow frequency of the wave.
Is there an answer to this? Or is it just a combination of different aspects, and when asked people only tell one of the sources
