I wear jeans at home when I know i’ll have to answer the door / want to go out for a quick walk during my lunch break / need to collect the mail (I live in a flat). When I’m working (seated) they’ll be unbuttoned.
If I’m not going out of the door or answering it I’m wearing sweats for sure.
Why should it have to be acceptable by anyone other than yourself?
