What are some not so obvious forms of abuse/grooming in a relationship?

I agree I recently got out of one and I didn’t realize how abusive it truly was till I got out of it and I think back to it I was totally groomed and he essentially wanted me to be his sex slave and slave in general, yes I consented to this relationship but I didn’t realize that I was getting into an abusive relationship that destroyed my life consent does not always mean yes. There was also a huge age gap which I think what was happening was that he was some older guy trying to take advantage of young men.
