Was thinking about if a prey ever switched it up and became the predator of what it used to he hunted by, what is the craziest food chain changes that have ever happened?

There are plenty of cases of prey animals killing perusing predators, like zebras killing lions by kicking them or moose killing bears. But I’m not sure an animal has ever evolved to become the more dominant predator. Doesnt really make sense when you consider the niches of the animal kingdom. when an animal finds a niche that works, and allows them to thrive they just stay in that niche
