Most of them are endangered species and they’re incredibly hard to take care of. They require diets and environments that are often different and sometimes more complex than humans’, and some humans are too stupid to understand that. I mean, most humans are afraid of math; how the fuck ever could they understand the needs of a different species that isn’t bred to be a toy for humans?
