United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) is currently seeking applications from eligible applicants for the post of Technical Associate in Mexico.

Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Technical Associate will perform the following functions:
- Provide technical support to identify bottlenecks and solutions for the accomplishment of the planned strategies for output 2.1 related to ECE.
- Support the ECD officer with data management using statistical software to yield necessary information to support decision-making processes, as well as evaluations and monitoring of results.
- Maintain up-to-date sectoral, statistical, and technical information on early childhood education in Mexico and other countries in Latin America and the Caribbean region, including cross-cutting issues of gender and diversity.
- Coordinate and participate in strategic meetings with the MoE and other stakeholders such as counterparts, implementing partners, and consultants.
- Prepare technical presentations on topics related to ECE and represent UNICEF in information dissemination events, if the ECD national officer is not available.
- Support the organization of events that promote the exchange of experiences in the sector.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have:
- Completion of secondary education (High School).
- At least 6 year’s working experience (or less depending on your educational background) providing technical or administrative support to programmes, projects, or organizations in the field of education.
- Experience working in early childhood development.
- Fluency in Spanish.
- Proficiency level of English (fluency is preferred).
