I don’t carry unless I’m in areas I know I’m going to potentially be in danger/need a firearm. I’m not talking about crime, I’m talking about wild animals. In those cases I open carry, and I’m generally in areas that if I forget when walking into a shop, or getting gas, it’s pretty common to be carrying, so nobody thinks anything of it. Only once have I been asked to leave my weapon in my vehicle, after forgetting to remove it, and I was super embarrassed by it. The lady told me it happened out there a lot lol.
That said, if I was to carry in a city I’d conceal, and have a permit. Open carry is asking for trouble, imo. I just don’t see the need to do so.
