Hivos Donor Outreach Manager Africa Jobs in Kenya
Responsibilities
Effectively convey Hivos’ mission, vision, and programs to potential donors
Coordinate and lead Hivos’ proactive outreach towards donors focusing on the African continent
Significant contributing to the financial target of Hivos
Leading and guiding proposal/consortia teams
Write and reviewing proposals
Organize fundraising events in collaboration with program and communication colleagues
Required Skills and Qualifications
At least six years of experience in business development, sales and marketing
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
Excellent writing skills
Technical knowledge and skills in Business development processes and procedures, both internal and external with donors.
Pro-active attitude both internal and external towards (new) donors
Ability to lead and motivate colleagues and external stakeholders
Strong attention to detail
Passion for research/donor intelligence
Ability to successfully balance priorities while managing multiple tasks and planning events
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Masters in communications, business, public relations, or related field
Competence with donor management systems
Substantial and proves experience in writing successful grant proposals, press releases, and fundraising letters
Confidence in public speaking
