Job Summary
The Accounts Intern will provide support to the finance team by assisting with various
accounting tasks, including data entry, financial record keeping, and preparation of reports.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including data entry and
document management.
Support the processing of accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring
accuracy and completeness.
Help with reconciling bank statements, supplier accounts, and other financial records.
Prepare and organize financial documents, invoices, and receipts for review and approval.
Assist in generating financial reports and summaries for internal use.
Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Assist in monitoring and tracking budget expenditures and variances.
Help with expense reports and documentation, ensuring compliance with company
policies.
Support the implementation of internal controls and procedures to ensure financial
accuracy and integrity.
Assist with maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulatory
requirements.
Provide general administrative support to the finance team, including scheduling
meetings and organizing files.
Requirements
Recent graduate in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
