Job Summary
To support in ensuring the smooth running of the Accounts Payable function, with timely payment processes and effective funds management in accordance with the Baylor Finance Policies & Procedures.
Overall Responsibilities
Efficient Mobile Money Float management.
Disbursements effectively followed up between Yo Uganda and Baylor Uganda respective accounts.
Swift processing of Mobile money transactions.
Proper accounting procedures for Mobile money followed at all stages.
Satisfactory Accountability for all mobile money transactions.
Reconciliations done on a timely basis by close of each day.
Enhance compliance through continuous training.
Review of Standard Operating Procedures on mobile money whenever need arises and dissemination of the same.
Provision of support to team and liaison between Yo Uganda and Baylor.
Required Qualification, Experience and Competencies:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance and membership to professional organizations i.e. ACCA or CPA (U).
Over 3 years’ working experience with at least 2 years’ experience in the Finance department of a reputable Non-Governmental Organization.
Knowledge of Finance & Accounting packages like Navision.
