Dololo Import and Export Accountant Jobs in Ethiopia
Job Summary
Dololo Import and Export Plc is looking for skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our import and export company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial analysis, and experience working with international transactions.
The Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing accurate financial reports to support decision-making processes.
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the company’s financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and payroll.
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other reports as required.
Monitor cash flow activities to ensure sufficient funds are available for daily operations.
Conduct regular audits of financial transactions to identify discrepancies or errors.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate recording of import/export transactions in compliance with international trade regulations.
Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary documentation.
Analyze financial data to identify trends or areas for improvement and provide recommendations to management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
At least three years proven work experience
Experience within an import/export company is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
Proficiency in using accounting software Peachtree and MS Office applications (especially Excel).
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
