Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree in Communications journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Sociology or equivalent qualification from a recognized university;
Membership of professional body in good standing; where applicable;
Proficiency in Computer applications skills; and
Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
Responsibilities
Crafting and implementing the Organization’s advocacy agenda;
Builds and maintains working relationships with key Organization’s publics in the regions;
Prepares briefing documents for public events for staff and stakeholders;
Plans and implements efforts to advance grassroots policy initiatives and communicate policy positions related to the Organization’s mandate;
Participate in developing and evaluating feasibility, efficiency and quality of Information Education and Communication (IEC) materials;
Assists in updating and revising the Organization’s policies, guidelines, and procedures relating to public awareness and advocacy; and
Assists to manage the relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the successful achievement of programme outcomes.
