Job Roles and Responsibilities:
Access Control:
• Monitor access points and entrances, verifying the identity of personnel and visitors before granting entry.
• Ensure that only authorized individuals have access to the construction site and its facilities.
Surveillance and Monitoring:
• Use security surveillance systems, such as cameras and alarms, to monitor the construction site for any unusual activities.
• Patrol the premises regularly to maintain visibility and deter potential security threats.
Incident Response:
• Respond promptly to security incidents, disturbances, or breaches.
• Alert appropriate authorities or supervisors as needed and follow established protocols.
Property Protection:
• Prevent theft, vandalism, and damage to equipment, materials, and property.
• Report any security breaches or suspicious activities to higher authorities.
Emergency Situations:
• Assist in emergency situations, such as fire, medical emergencies, or natural disasters, by guiding personnel and providing support.
Safety Protocols:
• Enforce safety protocols and regulations within the construction site.
• Ensure that workers and visitors adhere to required safety measures.
Visitor Management:
• Register and issue identification badges to visitors and contractors entering the site.
• Provide directions and assistance to visitors as needed.
Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of security-related incidents, patrols, and activities.
• Prepare incident reports and log entries.
• Collaboration: Liaise with local law enforcement agencies, if necessary, to ensure proper security coordination.
• Performs any other duty as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
• Incident
Response Time: Measure the time taken to respond to and address security incidents.
• Access Control Effectiveness: Evaluate the success of access control measures in preventing unauthorized entry.
• Surveillance System Utilization: Monitor the utilization and functionality of security surveillance systems.
• Incident Reporting: Measure the accuracy and timeliness of incident reporting.
• Patrol Coverage: Assess the extent and coverage of security patrols within the construction site.
Work Experience, Skills and Knowledge:
• Vigilance: Ability to maintain a watchful and attentive presence.
• Attention to Detail: Observing and identifying unusual or suspicious activities.
• Communication: Effective communication with site personnel, visitors, and higher authorities.
• Problem-Solving: Capability to address security challenges and respond to incidents.
• Emergency Response: Proficiency in following emergency response procedures.
• Physical Endurance: Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
• Team Collaboration: Effective collaboration with other security personnel and construction team members.
• Integrity: Demonstrating honesty, trustworthiness, and ethical behavior.
• Professionalism: Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
• Working experience: Possession 5 years working experience obtained in equivalent capacity.
