Description
Conducts various tests and analyses on construction materials, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards.
Ensure the integrity of materials used in construction projects and contributes to the overall success and safety of the projects.
Job Roles and Responsibilities:
Material Testing: Conduct tests on construction materials such as soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregates, and more.
Quality Control: Perform quality control tests to ensure materials meet specified standards and specifications.
Data Collection: Accurately record and document test results, measurements, and observations.
Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment used for testing.
Report Generation: Prepare and generate reports detailing test results and findings.
Research and Development: Explore new testing methods and technologies to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while conducting tests.
Collaboration: Coordinate with construction teams to communicate test results and provide recommendations.
Performs any other duty as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Accuracy of Test Results: Ensuring accurate and consistent test results for construction materials.
Quality Assurance: Monitoring materials’ compliance with quality and safety standards.
Data Recording: Accurate recording and documentation of test results and observations.
Equipment Maintenance: Proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
Report Preparation: Timely and accurate preparation of test reports.
Safety Adherence: Following safety protocols and guidelines during testing procedures.
Collaboration Effectiveness: Effective communication with construction teams regarding test results.
Work Experience, Skills and Knowledge:
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and conducting tests.
Attention to Detail: Accuracy in performing tests, recording data, and preparing reports.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze test results and identify deviations from standards.
Problem-Solving: Addressing issues and challenges related to testing procedures.
Communication: Effective communication of test results and recommendations to construction teams.
Safety Focus: Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines while conducting tests.
Time Management: Efficiently managing testing schedules and deadlines.
Professionalism: Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
Working experience: Possession 3 years working experience obtained in equivalent capacity.
