Job Roles and Responsibilities:
• Cost Estimation: Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for construction materials, labor, equipment, and other project expenses.
• Budget Monitoring: Help monitor project expenses against the allocated budget and provide regular updates to project managers.
• Tendering and Procurement: Assist in the tendering process by preparing bills of quantities, analyzing bids, and supporting contract negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Contract Management: Contribute to the management of contracts, variations, and change orders to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
• Valuation and Payment: Assist in valuing completed work, preparing interim payment certificates, and processing payments to contractors and suppliers.
• Quantity Measurement: Accurately measure and quantify construction materials and work completed on-site.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports and forecasts, including cost-to-complete projections and expenditure analysis.
• Risk Assessment: Identify and assess potential financial and contractual risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
• Project Documentation: Maintain organized and up-to-date records of contracts, invoices, payment certificates, and other relevant documents.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective cost management.
• Performs any other duty as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

• Cost Control: Keeping project expenses within the allocated budget.
• Accuracy: Precision in cost estimation and measurement of quantities.
• Contract Compliance: Ensuring that contracts and procurement activities align with project requirements and regulations.
• Timeliness: Meeting deadlines for financial reporting, payment processing, and
other relevant tasks.
• Savings Identification: Identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising project quality.
• Contract Management: Efficiently managing contract variations and change orders.
Work Experience, Skills and Knowledge:
• Quantitative Skills: Strong mathematical and analytical abilities for accurate cost estimation and quantity measurement.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulousness in reviewing contracts, invoices, and financial reports.
• Financial Acumen: Understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis principles.
• Communication: Effective communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders and convey financial information clearly.
• Contractual Knowledge: Familiarity with construction contracts, terms, and conditions.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and address financial and contractual challenges.
• Time Management: Efficiently manage tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic construction environment.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve project goals.
• Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate with suppliers, contractors, and other parties to ensure favorable terms.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with construction estimating and project management software tools.
• Professionalism: Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
• Working experience: Possession 4 years working experience.
