Duties and responsibilities
Implementing Library work programmes;
Assessing and developing library collection
Developing outreach programmes as part of the Knowledge Sharing strategy in the Authority
Providing professional and technical information on targeted areas of staff based on wide readership experience.
Academic Qualifications/Professional Skills/Expertise:
Requirements for appointment to this position For appointment to this grade, an officer must have;
A minimum of four (4) years relevant work experience in a position in Public Service or Private sector;
Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines: – Library and Information Management /Science, Management Information System, knowledge management, Records and Information Technology or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
Proficiency in computer applications;
Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results; and
Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution.
