National Employment Authority Integrated Management System Senior Information Communications Technology Assistant Jobs in Kenya
Duties and responsibilities
Writing and testing simple computer programs according to instructions and specifications;
Verifying, enhancing and testing simple computer programs according to instructions and specifications;
Installing and configuring computer systems;
Providing user support;
Repairing and maintaining ICT equipment and associated peripherals;
Monitoring the performance of ICT equipment;
Providing support for application systems;
Maintain an up-to-date ICT equipment register and issuance register;
Maintenance of Local Area Network components;
Provide end user support and training users on effective and efficient use of ICT facilities; and Update and maintain the Authority’s website.
Academic Qualifications/Professional Skills/Expertise:
Requirements for appointment to this position For appointment to this grade an officer must have:
Three years’ experience as an assistant ICT Officer
Diploma/Higher diploma in any of the following fields: Computer Science, Information Technology or other relevant and equivalent qualifications from a recognized Institution.
Minimum KCSE C- (minus) or its equivalent
Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
