Duties and Responsibilities

An officer at this level will work under a Senior Medical Laboratory Technician.

Specific duties will involve:

  • Investigations and diagnosing samples; and

    The officer may be deployed to head a busy Health Centre Laboratory.

    Requirements for Appointment

    For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:-

  • Served for at least three (3) years in the grade of Medical Laboratory Technician II, Job Group CPSB 11/’H’; and
  • Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
