I criticize atheists when they attack my beliefs preemptively and offer nothing of value in return.
Atheists have a very wide range of actual beliefs on many matters, and their use of the “religious” as a boogey-man gets old. It is not like atheists would not find grave philosophical and “religious” differences among themselves, yet, they present their generalized philosophy of being “godless” as if it were some self-evident and unified belief system.
