Reddit – what was the best destination vacation you have been on and why was it the best to you?

I’m not sure if a cruise counts as a destination vacation, but I highly recommend if you are from the US especially. With plane tickets so high for traveling abroad its cheaper to go on a cruise (and the food is already included!), and you get to live in amazing comfort as well as visit multiple beautiful places, and have the option to just relax if that is what you prefer. Since I love simply relaxing and seeing pretty things without having to worry about food, excursions, etc, it was perfect to just have a drink and stare out at the water.
