realistically what would be the best weapons to use in a zombie apocalypse close range and far that are both quiet,easy to use and repair?

For melee, I’d go with a spear that has some form of cross guard right behind the blade. As for range, I’d stay away from it, but if absolutely necessary I’d pick a bow
