People who go to concerts and talk through them: Why?

I appreciate the serious response. But wouldn’t a house party or a bar be better for that? Obviously a lot less expensive. But also, doesn’t it feel weird to be socializing while surrounded by people there to soak in the music?

Like, you wouldn’t do it during a movie, or even a classical performance, right?
