i had a boyfriend and when he told his mom about us her response was “i thought you were waiting for that blonde dancer girl who was on an exchange year” he played it off and told her he wasn’t talking to her anymore it was fine … the day before he left to visit his family i had this odd feeling that we would breakup after he got back… i drove to his house to talk about something the day he got back feeling it in my stomach that this time was the last time i would see him as my boyfriend and then halfway through the convo he broke up with me … i KNEW he was going to do it but i ignored my gut feeling and chalked it up to my anxiety and overthinking
